The JSO 10K is a unique trail race on the beautiful, scenic tank trails and fire breaks of Historic Fort Bragg. This all-off-road course is a very challenging trail through dirt, mud, gravel, and sand. There is a 600-participant limit for registered participants.
The race is open to all ages and abilities. While the majority of our participants come from Fort Bragg and the surrounding community, we also have participants from nearby states. It is a great time for all, so bring your friends and family and enjoy an event you just cannot find anywhere else in this area. The JSO 10K is part of the Triangle Race Series.
The Joint Special Operations 10K Run/5K Walk page is sponsored by the Special Operations Communicators Association.

The 2026 event is Saturday, November 14, starting at 8:00 am. Please join us in saluting our military and their families.

The course is USA Track and Field-certified (#NC-10117-PH).
The race will feature state-of-the-art disposable bib-chip timing by Precision Race, LLC.
Although we love our 4-legged friends, there will be absolutely no pets at the event. This is not our policy but MWR's. We ask that you please leave them at home.
SOCA pays MWR to use the pavilion. No outside organizations are authorized to conduct any fundraising, set up tents, or advertise. Thank you for understanding.
Off-road jogging strollers are acceptable on the course. The course is a trail run with sand and possibly muddy. A standard sidewalk stroller will not make it through the course.
